My Story

Kids

Hi lovely parents,

Since I had my first daughter I have been so fascinated with her emotional world. With degrees in psychology and social work, and a specialisation in families in children, I have seen my share of adult clients and friends with emotional difficulties, self-esteem issues, and interpersonal struggles. Many of these, I believe, can be traced back to childhood. I was so determined to give my daughter the best start that I could. After having two more kids I realised just how unique every child is. I knew my job was never to “shape” them. I want to know them and for them to know themselves. I want to watch them grow into their own little people, and I want to do everything that I can to help them feel supported along the way.

My goal is to take everything I have learned through studying, experiencing and constant research and to pass it onto other parents. I am passionate about helping other parents deepen their relationship with their children, and to increase emotional resilience, mindfulness, gratitude and peace in the home.

After my years of studying, experiencing, trying, failing and researching, I understand the elements that are most worth putting your energy into when it comes to raising kind, confident, resilient kids. We’re all short on time and sleep so I’m hoping to save you whatit’s taken me to get here and to condense it into actionable, bite-sized, powerful tips for you to implement right now.

I know and have felt, deep inside me, the importance of a village: and I would really love to be part of yours.

Prioritising Connection

Beneath all the tips and tricks, the research and the advice, the foundation of your child’s emotional resilience is the quality of their connection with you. I aim to help you strengthen this bond and to establish a healthier emotional foundation for life.

Prioritising Emotional Validation

“Unfelt feelings aren’t benign. They metastasise.”  - Brene Brown

Giving yourself the permission to feel your feelings is the first step in healthy emotional processing. Recognise them, understand them deeply and know how to express them in a healthy way. And through this process, learn how to care for ourselves and to bounce back quicker after setbacks.
