Our Happy Fambams

Susanne

“We just love the compassion corner. My son has taken to it like a treat. We have set up a special little nook with the stations, a few books, toys and a bean bag. He is particularly interested in the ways to calm down and choosing which activity he'd like to do. He likes to retreat there when facing those big emotions and also just to hang out. I've even noticed Arlo being able to use language to identify his emotions and start a conversation about them.”

“Thank you for teaching me how to teach my child how to calm herself when I am not around. When she came home from school and told me how she used her new calming techniques, I knew how invaluable this was.”

Sydney, NSW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Carli

“My relationship with my son has never been stronger. I have finally managed to stop yelling because I just have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing. All the exercises just felt like a game to him, he didn’t even realise how much he was learning.”

Strengthen your child’s
emotional resilience

With Compassion Corner children are taught not to feel shame around any emotions or to criticise or judge them. They are left feeling seen and their emotional well-being prioritised. And a healthier relationship with their emotions helps a child forge deeper and more fulfilling relationships with others. Healthy emotional processing sets kids up for less anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. What more could we, as parents, want?

A strong message is communicated to children in this corner: You deserve to give yourself the compassion you would give a friend. ALL your feelings are okay. We’re here to help you manage and react to them in a healthy way. We are here to help you with all of it.

Deepen the parent-child relationship

The foundation of your child’s emotional resilience is the quality of their connection with you. Compassion Corner provides you with tools, tips and activities to help strengthen this bond and establish a healthier emotional foundation for life.

Decrease parental burnout

I understand how hard it is to be a parent. The juggle, the never-ending to do list, the emotional overwhelm, the sheer intensity of it all. After years of study, research and a good dose of trial and error, I have put my heart and soul into creating a practical and fun little package to share what I’ve learnt and help make life easier for other parents. It takes a village, and I want to be part of yours.
